The company’s representatives Jonas Håkanson and Claes Håkanson are very satisfied with the results of the fairs. “The financial crisis has hit the market for property abroad pretty hard. Therefore we are very happy to see that the interest of the buyers is back again. Thailand remains the number one favorite for Scandinavians visiting the country and for Scandinavians interested in buying a place in the sun” says Jonas Håkanson who is responsible for the Siam Royal View Scandinavian Sales Office. It is not only the group of people who are due to retire that are looking forward to enjoy the life in Thailand and the low cost of living. Among the prospective customers that showed a high level of interest we have counted a surprising share of younger families with small children. Many questions about school education to Western standards have been asked and answered. Many interested parties feel that it is a good idea to invest in a house that can be rented out during a big part of the year. This over time finances the entire house, and the increased value of the house comes as a very pleasant extra benefit.
